Truth is a Tear

Truth is a tear for it is the same from all sides
And when shed, our face, most of us hides
Given in sorrow we wish not to share its release
To cry in surprise then they are an act of peace
Laughter with tears a tribute to pleasure renowned
But to often alone shedding our tears are we found
We cry at movies, sad songs, an emotional discord
But to cry all alone, is it the tears they wish to hoard
Come out from hiding for everyone to see if you dare
And give up a tear to show the world that you still care
Need not it be so that so many feel this despair
Together it is that this cross we all must bear
For depressing it is to think yourself all alone
But together in tears we will all feel at home.
