Slowly, you pull me to the dance floor
as I take you in my arms

as my feelings slowly fill my being

as we dance in the darkness of this cold night
feeling tears well up inside
as another song fills my mind
the song that speaks my heart
and the love I once felt for you
pulling you a little closer
feeling your body next to mine
I kiss your cheek so softly
wanting to whisper, I love you
but I cannot, because of your love for another
I sigh, envying the man who holds your heart
but yet remembering the cold chill of sorrow
