Pink.
I have always had this feeling,
Deep inside me that says where I belong,
My heart and body and soul,
This feeling keeps me going and strong.
It's a mixture of love and devotion,
To be a true part of a culture that's new,
The fabulous people here are my best friends,
Their support always sees me through.
My life in the last year has been hard,
Challenges to face and new places to begin,
I always know though with you by my side,
I will always come through and win.
It's been such a dream for years,
To stand up and be counted with you,
Possibly staying as a hopeful,
Possibly as a SuicideGirl strong and true.
To me I'm just glad to be here,
To be able to share my life with you,
I enjoy reading your stories,
So I can know you guys with more depth too.
I guess what I'm trying to say,
In this little ode to you guys,
Is a massive thank you to you,
And the promise that I'll continue to try.
I want to let you know that without you,
I wouldn't have stood a chance at all,
So pink or not I'll still be here,
Sharing my heart with you.
