I forgot to put these up, I've been trying to take pics with all the comedians that come through, but I always forget my camera for the really big ones like Dave Attell and Damon Wayons. Last weekend I was hanging with Mr. Cooper (Mark Curry), he's a nice guy, helped me with some of my chores. So below is the infamous Carlos Mencia, and one of my favorites, Gabriel Englesias. They're both going to have shows on comedy central so they're taking it to the next level. Sad day in the comedy world yesterday, Mitch Hedburg died yesterday. He was our favorite in our club, he really recharged the nature of stand up comedy. He will be missed.
Carlos Mencia and me. I was sooo tired, it was about 4:00am at the end of the last of 3 days of 12 hour shifts with no breaks. It paid off, though.
Gabriel Inglesias started getting in the habit of running long shows until about 3:00 am, too. So again, disclaimer, I was really tired.
There will be more to come. I'm looking forward to Richard Lewis next month.
I'm hoping I can make it to Tigerlily's dinner on the 15th, it depends on work. Anyone planning on going?

Miyazaki is a god. My favourites by him are My neighbor Totoro, Princess Mononoke, and Spirited Away, thus far. I also have Kiki's Delivery Service and Castle in the sky. I wish I could go to Tokyo to the Miyazaki museum, I'm that much of a dork.
What can I say? Life size plush cat buses? Who doesn't want to go?
