Today is the day. One last date with the Boy...and that's the end. We're going to have a walk in the park, and go to McCormick and Shmick for dinner (spelling?), one last...possibly overly dramatic...evening together.

It would be so much easier if there was some sort of major event that was the cause of the break-up...to make it easier. Like finding out he's actually Mormon, or running over his cat, or excessive usage and abuse of Aqua Team Hunger Force.

Nope, it's just because I _know_ deep down, that this is what I need to happen.

It would even be easier if it was an emotionally messy split, like if he was angry and accusational, or blubbery mess of unstoppable tears. He's not. He's taking it _so_well_, so admirabley...that it makes it even harder somehow. I'm proud of him.

In lighter topics......saw Rushmore last night. Awesome. Truly...awesome. I wonder if San Jose has a local Kite Flying Society.

Getting my portfolio together to apply for some jobs. Not a lot out there for 2D artists in the game world....or for illustrators in general. Graphic Designers have it made, though....jobs by the handful. Damn you.

ALSO, I have decided to get a beta fish. But I want his container to be something really cool. So people will walk in and be like "Yo, Aurora....that's a truly awesome fish bowl". Betas are known to live in dixie cup sized bowls...they like it that way I guess. Although I'm suspicious of that, I mean, had anyone ever asked a Beta if he LIKES living in a dixie cup? I'm thinking that he would say "Hey, man. Just because I CAN live in a dixie cup sized bowl doesn't mean I WANT to live in a dixie cup sized bowl."

Any ideas out there???
