I was supposed to get a call back about the job today, but there was no such call. I'm trying not to be too optimistic about the tiny chance they will call tomorrow.
The chances that my guy will get the internship down here are slimming, too. This is all crappy news for the both of us, especially him. But the one thing that makes me feel warm about this is that we will finally be in San Jose together.
Maybe with our powers combined we can conquer new goals. Or summon Captain Planet. Either would be pretty cool.
