Well this weekend didn't turn out quite like I planned. Friday i ended up taking off work cause my mom had a nervous breakdown. I took her to the doctor twice to get her cast changed. Then played phone tag with Dr. B trying to get her some sort of seditive. Thank God for valium!!! She finally calmed down that night.
And then saturday my brother came over, and mom convinced me to make him swedish meatballs (his favorite) for dinner. So that was fun.... I like cooking. I ended up doing the dishes 3 times! (fuck my dad uses a lot of dishes! ...plus I cleaned the stove on that 3rd wash) Funny when you have ALL the dishes in the house clean at the same time, they almost don't fit in the cabinet. And then I was so tired I just watched mushy movies with my mom.
And today I didn't do much. I went to the grocery for my grandmother, cause she didn't have any non-diabetic food for my cousin who's staying with her. She's taking care of him because he got jabbed in the eye by one of his son's projectile G.I. Joe toys. And well... he only had one eye to begin with, since he had a tumor on the other one last year and had it removed. (which caused him to be layed off from his job.... and therefore no insurance) Poor guy.... he's terrified he's going to be completely blind now.
I've never been that close to him, so I have no idea what to say to him. I'll just pray that the doctors at LSU can help him.
Then of course Mike came over yet again, so we ended up watching this creepy movie (just what mom needed to cheer her up! lol) about cannibals. Ick.
I think I'll be a vegetarian for the next week.
Anyway, another stressful weekend. I had planned to do so much too, and it all just got pushed aside. Oh well, mom comes first obviously, and family members in need.
I want to cut my hair.... I haven't really decided how yet tho... some type of short bob with baby bangs maybe? But I'm afraid my face is too round for that. I dunno. I have always LOVED Audrey Hepburn's hair (hence why i cut it off last february) I'm not thinking that short again tho, just that type of look.
I want to go buy some more MAC make-up too. And I had planned to go get something pierced friday night, but mom's little break-down kinda got in the way. And now I've lost my nerve.
