Selling out is the only way to go. What's the point of putting on a show if you don't want people to come and see it?
Oh and I hardly can believe time spent with anyone from SG can be described as "wasted", why? I don't know, probably because anyone who has become a member has at least something interesting to them, and the uniqueness and beauty of each SG makes us all come (back for more I mean).
