Today felt like Christmas.
I woke up and went to a party at our friends, the Copes. I had punch and cider and ate lots of dessert, and we sang Christmas Carols for easily an hour. Then we walked down the street and sang Christmas Carols to people in the neighboorhood. An older lady told us she had never been sung to before. Then, my...

Like mother LIKE daughter....
I've been listening to so much music lately. This is great.
This morning I listened to Ghostface's The Pretty Toney Album.
I chilled this afternoon and listened to Hank Williams.
I did the dishes while listening to The Cars's self-titled debut. My mom said it was cool. She might make a copy. Neat.
Right now I'm listening to Thomas Dolby's The Golden Age of Wireless....

I do like jazz though, even though the lifetime you were thinking of was not the lifetime I was. I love Etta James, Clairedee, and Charley Parker...but thats about the extent of my jazz knowlege...are you super into jazz?
elouise:

I called in sick to work today.
It was nice, but all I've done is bum around on the internet. I'll probably end up seeing Blade: Trinity in a bit...even though I just read Roger Ebert's review that proclaimed: "even Blade fans will not like this movie". Oh well, if really sucks, I'll have something to complain about!

yeah, i know it is all semantics but when someone I don't even know just pops up in my journal out of nowhere challenging my choice of words... and then insists on narrow minded definitions... I get a little annoyed...
Anyway, I saw Blade trinity, I didnt think it was that bad, certainly better than Blade 2 if you ask me, then again maybe my extremely lowered expectations helped.

I'm getting sick.
There's something kinda fun about a runny nose. Then again, sneezing when it shakes you to the bone is really unsettling.
Edited to add:
The best thing about living at home is having your mom around when you get sick.

I had a friend over and we ended up looking through my high school yearbook. At first we just laughed at the pictures, and then we moved on to the things people wrote in it. Some...
