Today at work, my co-worker Vinh bought me the new M.I.A. CD. I told him that I didn't buy new anymore but to look for it used, and he just bought it for me. It totally floors me and it still does. He is so awesome.



I just hope I can repay him somehow.

Tonight, someone started a thread with me in the title andMeaney made me a trading card. When the hell did I get this cool?



Today at work I bought The Four Tops Anthology, Naughty By Nature's self-titled debut, and FINALLY bought The Streets' Original Pirate Material...and I picked up The Iron Giant on DVD (one of the animated movies that gets me all tearie eyed). AND I got two free issues of Q Magazine! Today was all kinds of awesome.

Tomorrow is the second funeral, the one with the extended community. I wonder how many people are going to show up. Apparently, someone from his childhood will be talking about what my grandfather was like as a child. It should be interesting. I love hearing old people tell stories about how things used to be. I hope to be old and wizened some day and tell people all about how great things were when I was young.

It will be nice to have a break from funerals though.
