I did the dishes while listening to The Cars's self-titled debut. My mom said it was cool. She might make a copy. Neat.
Right now I'm listening to Thomas Dolby's The Golden Age of Wireless. I have had the synth riff from "Radio Silence" going through my head all day.
I have also been listening to ABC's The Lexicon of Love, Elvis Costello's This Year's Model and My Aim Is True, Blondie's Parallel Lines, The Mary Jane Girls, and Franz Ferdinand.

I do like jazz though, even though the lifetime you were thinking of was not the lifetime I was. I love Etta James, Clairedee, and Charley Parker...but thats about the extent of my jazz knowlege...are you super into jazz?
