I need to break up with my girlfriend.
The whole time we were talking on the phone today, it started entering my mind like a mantra. She was telling me about things that I didn't care about and I realized that I had lost all interest in this relationship. It wasn't something I needed in my life. The only thing stopping me from ending it right there was the fact that people always say you should never break up over the phone. I already have once and I would prefer not to do it again. My life is in limbo right now and I need to move on.
