I got my haircut today. I tried to get the guy at the place to just shave my head, but he really didn't want to do it. I'm not sure if it was an insult to his haircutting abilities or if he just thought I'd look bad. He spent like 45 minutes cause he kept having to cut it shorter, so I gave him a 5 dollar tip for an 8 dollar haircut. Now it's shorter than it's been since i was a baby, but it's still not there. To be honest, it looks really good, although my brother says it looks like a military cut. Then again, I'd rather have a military cut than wear camoflauge. Soon I want my hair to be the length of the Dalai Lama's.

My friend Numan told me that he couldn't see me with a shaved head (more the reason to do it), cause one of my nicknames was "Fro" in high school due to my unruly hair. Then again, that nickname was given to me by an Indian American guy and I am not nor have I ever been African American in the least, although there are times when I wish I had at least an eighth.

So in addition to this new haircut, I decided to wear this cowboy hat my mom had in her closet to the arcade. Some of the people there were pointing and laughing, but it was good to endure that. I looked damn good, so fuck em. At least this time, nobody came into the liquor store and asked me and my relative "what are you two queers looking at?" I love ignorant M-Town folk. Too bad he didn't see me with my pink Polo on. M-Town isn't all bad though, cause there are some real nice looking girls there, even though they are all either underage or attached or both.

And i ordered a copy of On The Road last night for 5 bucks from some vendor at Amazon.com as well as the movie Power that I have to analyze the music for for my Film Music class. I guess this weekend will involve reading up on the European Union (unfortunately) as well as writing a paper on documentary filmmaking strategies (yay!). Also I'm getting my saxophone and clarinet fixed tomorrow hopefully so I can begin a new era of instruments in working order with no screws the wrong size and no scotch tape on the pads! I also gotta go get comics! This weekend is jam packed! And this is beginning to drag...
