I think the fear of the eye's and teeth are bourne from the fact that they are not replacable. We have made leaps and bounds in terms of optical enhancement and replacement, but the fact is, when one of those things go , more often than not they go for good. I, many times, have hurt myself rather well but have shrugged it off in the long run knowing I would heal in time from it. Losing a tooth, or gods be good, my eyesight would frighten me completely because I would know I would be losing something that would never come back.

have had a nervous tic in the muscles of my right eye, on and off but with disturbing frequency, for about two months now. perhaps if this keeps up my right eye will become stronger and more toned, and i'll finally master the art of the right-eye-wink. currently, i can only wink with my left. so there's a silver lining to every cloud.
