got two new cories today... one is a beautiful silvery black-spotty one that follows neurotic fish around. (cories are pretty social, for fish. they play in the currents created by tank filters - coolness!) thus he's temporarily known as sidekick, though he's also just a beautiful fish. got also a little panda cory, who's currently a bit more subdued but still hangs out with the other two a bit, and is naturally enough known as panda fish. i think they're all happy to be together.
tomorrow's gonna be monday... aiyee. but on tuesday i get to go to my benefits orientation - yes! restored gym access! knowledge of my health care plan! psuedo field-trip from the office to the human resources building! i'm looking forward to it.
food is so expensive, and i eat it *all* the frigging time. grocery store trips have taken on this dual feeling of bonanza windfalls and vague stressors. doesn't help that i drew additional cash from my debit card and accidentally left it sitting in the little slot (which is located at the height of my knees and makes no sounds when the money is spit out. i'm sure stuff like this happens every day.) went back and it was gone - lucky for me it was only $25, i guess, but still. the cashier lady was very nice about it, gave me a number to call to check in tomorrow and see if they had extra in the cash register or if it'd been returned or such, but i kinda doubt i'm going to see that money again.
dawning last night was awesome, got to see the black-painted basement for the first time. and it was good. i look forward to next week when perhaps i won't be on my period and somewhat dizzy-sick from a day of too much rollerblading in the hot sun. heh. at this rate my toughness must return soon, despite all my hours of sitting at a desk.
i still want to make awesome webpages using my new-found appreciation of CSS. gotta pick up a book on PHP too and knuckle down to some serious refreshing and knowledge-expanding. too bad my workplace only uses ASP, so i can't brush up on PHP through them. i also really need to look into finding webspace... though it may be a little while yet before i actually need it. percolation, yup indeed.
