short post. skipped workout - didn't feel like treadmill-running, and not worth it to just go and lift. must get warmer out.
so damn busy. all this week. insane. need time to settle back in, post-spring-break. eck.
am really truly glad about job. am also intimidated like crazy. my supervisor most definitely didn't consider me the best candidate for the position; i got in because of my coworkers, who were very vocal in supporting me. i appreciate their endorsement a lot and it buoys my spirits, but i'm still a bit uneasy. wish i could feel wholly accepted, but i guess i'll just have to prove myself quickly and well. i hope i can do that... not just well, even. in my heart of hearts i want to be superb.
fatespawn is fantastic. the snippets of free time i've had so far have been relaxing and fun and more often than not contained either metal gear-ness or babylon 5 or anime. and lots of hugs. huzzah to that!
i hope i've helped somebody today.
internship is going with the blessing of my sponsor, yeah. one must always keep in touch with those who write the grades.
my hat of concealing-purple-hair is in the mail on its way to me tomorrow. if i were to dye the tips of my hair and leave the rest purple (and forever wear my hat at work), would you recommend (a) black tips, (b) blonde tips or (c) ___________ (the write-in choice)? vote now!
may the apartment i've emailed about be fantabulous. wheee for trying to figure out so many crucial things all at once! seems to work out, though.
