ok well as of today it has been a year since i have had any alcohol
been a god damn trying time:
bad breakup
real bad car wreck
legal shit
layoff/job change
2 friends committed suicide (one was a girl I was in love with for 10 years -- we just never quite got it together to be together --both were into it, timing was just always wrong)
2 other friends died- 1 OD, 1 hit by drunk driver
ugh
made it through!
I'm not one of those people who judges others for their drinking, it's just something that was not working for me and was getting out of control and spilling that out-of-controlness into areas of my life best kept together.
Life is pretty weird when you spend 100% of the time feeling it without the aid of alcohol or other substances...
