here and gone. went to an art trade/potluck tonight, and was stressing for a full week on what to bring. made this litle g-rated cute thing, on the expectation that a noncrass girl might get my art. cute IS a skill.
it was also an excuse to break out my guache paints and buy some new quills. fucking ink and paint! right!
i havent used guache in forever and ever. mainly because i was taught to use it at one college for color theory, and the instructor made us apply it thick like acrillics. its expensive, but dries fast and apparently is more 'pure' colorwise. i had heard its supposed to be a watercolor, so this is my first gentle approach to painting. maybe my first gentle approach ever.
hmm. what have i deleted music wise? nothing. cant settle down to listen to anything i dont like. right now we're chilling to paul simon.
