urg. life is very dumb right now.
everything i own is several versions behind, cobbled together, and/or broken. i was looking forward to purchasing a used g4 from a friend for a decent price, until i learned her dvd drive is broken, and would cost $300 for replacement and installation. and there goes the good deal. so, im back to looking on the internet to find parts to put together or places to buy that drive cheaper.
and i dont even want to do it at home because im on a 56k modem.
y'know, i think most websites arent even designed for dialup anymore. it certainly takes for-EVER on a few sites i go to. so, im off to a faster connection.
youd think that as a person who uses some of the larger programs, i would have all this stuff sorted out by now. but no.
