i've been feeling a lot better lately. the closest summer gets, the more i can feel myself moving onward. this year is all about preparations for me, next year I will begin the next chapter in my life. and i have waited for so long... and so goes the saying "good things come to those who wait."

there's so much out in the world, it's overwhelming at times. endless possibilities and potential for dreams to take shape and become reality. if there is one thing i have had it's my passion and determination. sometimes i let stupid shit cloud my vision, but that's when i start to realize i'm trying to take on too much at once. or i'm trying to fix things that don't really matter anymore. things that have been take as close to being fixed as possible. i'm learning to move on.

it's true that pain fades with time. wounds do heal. we learn to try again, but when we're ready. our mistakes help us grow, and this leads us down the roads of our lives. around the twists and turns, and sometimes through the backroads when we've been lead astray. a scar is the one thing never goes away, nor should it. the memories behind it carry meaning, a lesson. the more scars you have, the wiser you become. you push on, and you help others whenever you can.

for 22, i'm doing fine. sure i miss somethings that i've lost, but maybe someday those things will come back into my life. maybe they'll be better next time. if i never find them again, and least i've found them once before... and i know what love is.
