Two blogs in one day.. it's like your favorite clothing store going on sale... except I'm not a store selling merchandise, just shitty ramblings. Today was a "good" day, when I gazed at my reflection in the mirror I didn't feel an uncontrollable urge to gouge out my eyes with a salad fork (yes I have some class). Two days in a row.. thats gotta...

Three days to go and I'm already feeling the strain. Commercials, ads and word of mouth carry the painful stings of Valentine's Day. To quote someone famous, "a day created by Hersey's and Hallmark." A month ago I thought I would find myself actually celebrating the "holiday" with someone that I cared about, until that fantasy was blotted out of existence in one foul swoop....

looks like we've both been blindsided recently.
i'm sorry about that.
however, i'm not sorry that bad things like this allow us to become more resilient.
cheer up, champ.

So it's been a little while since I've let the world know how Atti is doing, so what better way to start (I haven't slept yet today) my day than to write a blog. On this February 7th, 2008 I sit looking out my window at the foot of snow lying on the ground. Mother nature graced us with a fresh six inches yesterday afternoon,...

Monday morning, 3am. Literally the beginning of a new week. I always wonder what my weeks will be like on sunday night/ monday morning when I'm sitting here alone. There are always a series of expectations or goals you set for yourself. "I plan to go work out (so many times) this week. I need to get my hair cut. Or write that paper." We...

thanks for adding meee!
Thanks for bearing with me on this one. I just had this idea and just started writing it out seeing where it went. Completely wasn't expecting that at all so I appreciate those that read it through to the end. Thats not by any means the end, lets just call it a first installment. I do have a good idea where I'm going to take...

In lieu of everything that has transpired over the last six weeks I still find myself surprised at some things that happen to me. I thought to myself "how could things get any more out of control than they are" and then I wake up in the morning to find myself staring at a message someone left me that morning or a voice mail, leaving...

take care of your self, I know things are tough. I know that newyears is rather anticlimactic, but it does in a way offer us up a new opportunity to make something of a whole new year. "It's not where we are, it's what we do while we're there." - Chris in the morning.
Chin up sunshine, soon all this will be over. <3

Promise me you will do one thing in the next week which you have been putting off for a while and which has the potential to make you happy? Being 'productive' comes easily once you make that first break into it. It's the first haul that is the hard part.
Anyway it seems like you are being pretty creative with your writing
*hugs* xx

This christmas week has been very interesting and unique for me. I spent it alone; in a very small city where half of the population is college students who disembarked for home this week, thus leaving me here. In a building of a hundred people I was the only one around for Christmas. It was nice, yet I felt myself lacking something... family, friends, fellowship.....

This morning I awoke to a freezing chill creeping up my leg and spine, sobering me awake from last night's outting to my favorite bar, which was completely dead for a Tuesday night. I sat there; motionless, only moving to pick up the cold, frothy beer in my hand and take a sweet drink, hoping that it would do something for my loneliness. A terrible...

You said a lot of things in this entry that most people are afraid to admit. I fully respect you for that and have to admit that I basically do the same, though would rarely admit it.
Yesterday.. was my birthday. The big two-three. I spent it in the most unique way possible: in Canada. You may wonder how different my birthday could be in Canada but it was. For the first part of the day MK and I hung out around her place having a nice brunch consisting of eggs and cheese over toasted bagels which most definitely hit the spot....

I found my transition to 23 much more significant than that to 21 (due mostly to the anti-climax factor - here we can drink etc at 18, so 21 doesnt mean that much), but once I turned 24, I felt old (mid 20s - eek!) so enjoy the last year of your early 20s as well as you can

I was playing my Weakerthans LP and looking at the lyrics sheet.
This song reminded me of our little venture. It's pretty uncanny actually.

If you want it hot off the ripping press let me know. I transferred it from my record player today, so there's a sexy vinyl crackle.
Monday morning has come. For those of you keeping up with the Atti chronicles, last time I was about ready to leave for Canada and suffice it to say I made it one piece. It took me about 10 1/2 hours to make the drive. If it had not have been for getting stopped by Immigration at the border (ready more below) I would have...
