Gotta love the 2am blogs
Insomnia, fuck you and your existence in this universe. I did manage a short nap this afternoon after only sleeping for a whopping two hours last night. I had to wake up for an interview this morning at 8, which is too fuckin early for me to be doing anything productive. I managed to clean up nicely, but I'm sure I sounded like the teacher from Peanuts.
Tomorrow, I plan to sleep in late and then go swimming in the afternoon. I have found it to be quite therapeutic and I need something to distract me from everything that is going on right now. The days are passing quickly enough I suppose, which is a good and bad thing. Since this whole Army saga began, I've been eager to go and still am, but there is also the underlying doubt about what is to come.
Just have to take it in strides and realize I'm only human and all humans have fear of the unknown.

At least you woke up. Haha I have been laid off for 5 months now. I had to get up for an interview last Monday.. I swear I walked like a zombie haha.. I got noooo sleep the night before. But i did get the job .. as i hope the same for you

hun, dont worry or stress about the army.... it is going to be something different from anything that you've ever done before. you will get annoyed with all the teenagers and probably one of the oldest ones there. but you'll have a blast and learn a lot. and in the end, put the uniform on proudly to show the world that you protect our freedoms. thank you for that!
