Thanksgiving week - a week with preparation, consumption and purchasing come together to create one large clusterfuck of emotion and experience. Any typical year I'd find myself on break from school, going home on thursday to eat a ridiculous amount of food and then spending the rest of the time with friends until I go back to finish out a semester. Seeing how this year is not "typical" by any means, I will be working the entire week and most likely not going home for thanksgiving. On top of it, I get to wake up at 4am to go to work.... my life rules.

On a happier note, when I do have time to write, I find that its going well. Pieces are meaning more to me which is a big thing. If I write something and feel nothing after I finish and/or read it, then I usually cast it aside and practice my jump shot on the nearby trashcan. But alas the last few days have been rewarding to say the least. So I take satisfaction that something is making headway in this backwards world of mine.

Only have time for a quickie (I laughed after I typed it) today. Have to work soon, but I will try to write some more before I hit the sack tonight.
