it feels like i haven't updated in ages. well it has been about 4 days.
not much going on in the world of mee at the moment!
had the most bullshit day at work today. every day we are set a target of takings that we have to make. today's (saturday) target was 10,000, and we missed it by about 200, and did we get a roasting from our manager? oh yes. now he's decided we are all going to have personal daily targets to be made. these targets will be set to around 500 to anywhere around 3000 (which i, personally, think is completely ridiculous). this was all because some people were 'underperforming' today. now, does that, or does it not, put the people who did work hard, under a hell of a lot more pressure than before? i think it does. why have such an elitist idea in a team enviroment? the reason it's elitist is because, if you reach your daily target more than other people, you get a bonus. why am i so against this idea? i just don't think it'll work very well. it was used before, but it was scrapped
why introduce it again?

i had the most odd, yet nice dream. i dreamt that i was seeing one of my co-workers (i won't say her name, on the off chance that one of them stumbles upon this... it could happen!) it was one of those dreams that was incredibly reassuring and comforting and so... right. ever since last night i couldn't stop thinking about it today, and every time i see her, i see that dream. i do my best to stop, but i can't. it's a little unnerving. and i know it's the dream making me think like this, not her. or is it?
finally i picked a decent CD at work.. (No Doubt; the singles). it was actually appreciated! wahey! i like working to music i actually listen to outside of the workplace.
tomorrow i have a day off, which i don't have to spend at the bloody hospital! it's nadine's birthday, so a bunch of people are going to a biketrials meet leeds. yes we are that sad to go riding on a birthday!
has anyone head 'Ordinary World' by Duran Duran? i really like it, and i listen to it every day before work (for some unknown reason). if you haven't heard it, i suggest you download it.. now .... legally, of course
our work night out is only a week away! and pay day is only 6 days away! excitement is beckoning.
