Wow, I've been gone for a while... 
Much love and thanks to you all for the birthday wishes. Things are looking up a bit these days, so I'm a bit more optimistic. Looks like I might be moving in a little over a month, and that will be nice.
Things have settled down a bit with my uncle, and my aunt's family is finally starting to get off their asses and help her out a bit, so it looks like I won't have to go back to Paris for a while, anyway. And that makes me really happy.
