Okay, enough of the drama in my life. But I do thank you all for your words of support. Now, back to the comedy!

************************

Resolved: Attack_Macaque's new motto is "Iuguolo panton ut permoveo" (Kill everything that moves)

************************

Nominations are now closed for the 1st Annual Thing That Should Not Be Award, in recognition of people, things, or concepts that should have been aborted before they were ever brought into this world. We had a few late entries, including correcting the glaring oversight of leaving off Michelle Malkin, the bastard love child of Michael Savage and Ann Coulter. And now to announce the winner! Envelope, please...

(drumroll)

The winner of the Thingy, the all-expenses-paid trip to the Marianas Trench, and the souvenir anvil necklace, is....

The Polyphonic Spree!!! Yes, if you were looking you saw it coming from a mile away. Have fun at the bottom of the Pacific Ocean, guys, and remember, you can't sing when your lungs are filled with water. Thank god...

************************

And now it's time for another classic Attack_Macaque Post from the Past:

MONDAY OCTOBER 28 1929 9:13 PM

Well, I just put $50,000 in the stock market. I had to borrow it against my house, but I feel really good about this! The market's been down for the past few days, and I think it's poised to take off to new levels, starting tomorrow. Yes, years from now I'll be looking back on October 29 and calling it "Green Tuesday!"

just the other day my wife and i were looking into scientology! i mean, not to join - but just to see what it's about. MADNESS. i dislike judging religious (ok, not fully true..) - but scientology is nutty. i see why the germans wanna keep it out... wink

i *think* On Liberty made the "evil book" list b/c it argues for personal freedom, and that means the option of foregoing morality and primordial ties. i think that's the "evil" it endorses.
