yesterday jen and i checked out a condo unit for rent. i fell in love with it. it's on the fifth floor of a relatively new condo (they keep going up here), has a massive balcony with 3 doors and i can put a bbq on it. bbq! i missing bbq'n. the balcony faces south, with a tree canopy a couple of feet away 
so, you walk into an open floor plan with a very long/large kitchen area to the right (washer/dryer is in a small room off the kitchen), the island can have stools so we'll probably get a set and get rid of our tables. a few steps into the place reveals a pretty large living/dining area with a perfect spot for my reef. it's only a 1bd unit, but it's quite large; probably as big as my current living room.
there's a small den off of the living/dining area that has it's own window & door to the balcony; which will be my work area.
i really hope we get this place.
