i got my first ride in thursday night at the local hill; 20 runs and 3 quad lifts. pretty good for 20mins away. it's not that tall though, only a couple hundred vertical feet; but it's still the best local hill i've had.

i met some french guy in a lift line the second time going up. we were both singles and he was talkative so we chatted on the way up and then i offered to ride with him while he looked for a group of friends. i'm not sure if there was a group, the guy seemed nice but a little odd too. maybe it's cause he was a complete stranger, shrug.

i went back saturday with jen, but the hill was packed. it must've been at capacity for parking. we didn't ride, we're going back tomorrow night
