sad face day. my coral beauty died. it was too hot yesterday, sigh. with the intense light on the tank, the variables were stacked against everything in the tank surviving and oddly enough the hardiest fish died.
tonight i'm going to raise the light, get the stuff i need to make a custom lid for 1 side of the tank and then hopefully, if there's enough time i'll get my ac functional tonight.
30c (felt like 45c in my apt) + lamps hot enough to burn you + evaporation = fail/sad face/death.

i actually feel sad 'cause i guess i really loved that fish like a pet. it'd eat from my hands, was generally awesome and got along with my tang (harrison ford). as long as my clowns (plus anemone) and sailfin blenny survive until the ac is in, i'll be very happy... otherwise even sadder face.
