i met chris for lunch today. he's uh, what my ex and new girl call my bff; sigh. anyways, he bought a house like 2 weeks ago and is moving into it next weekend just as i'm moving out of the city. he mentioned he was looking for a decent surround sound setup for his living room because that's probably where he's gonna be watching tv with his gf most of the time.

in between a match of worms on his 360 (i toss grenades like they have super glue on em), while outside smoking a joint i quickly ran the math of having three 350-500w amps in my new apt and offered him my beloved marantz. he was shocked and accepted quickly. so, when i got home i chatted with jen for a bit and then moved my tube gear to my pc and hooked it up with that lovely usb dac cable from headstage with the custom rca plugs.

and uh, this is the empties stack in my kitchen. it'll be returned this week sometime. i bet i could get another 12 pack for free.
