went to a recently opened panini shop at lunch with the boys from work. the cashier recognized me and said "it's been awhile since i've seen you". while i was eating i realized she was a friend of my ex. sitting here at my desk i'm kinda confused by the greeting; cause we never hung out. i think once in maybe 4 years. i never would've placed her if she didn't try to be friendly, shrug.
the owner of the shop was there today. he made my sandwich, and recommended a huge pile of onions; the man knows his food. i met him at a chemical brothers concert almost 10 years ago and we still say 'hey' when we see each other... because this city is so small.
can't wait to be outta here in 3 weeks.
i got confirmation that my application for the new place was approved. i was asked when i could "come sign the lease"... living almost 6 hours away will make that slightly difficult.
