i spent fri-sun in ottawa at a friend's place; celebrating my bday a week early! the ice sculptures are from winterlude, which just started this past weekend. i loved the pop top lid on the grolsch! the fireplace was also very cool to be around and drink a beer to get rid of a hangover. i shot 98% of the time with my 16-50 to try it out; haven't really used it beyond portraits at my place. it's not bad for shots in a bar, but i should've taken my 50. f2.8 isn't fast enough for almost no light imo.
