tindersticks is awesome. i got a remastered copy of their first album for my birthday; i love it.
my morning has sucked so far; and it's 8am. i woke up and discovered one of my paradigm monitors (speakers) wasn't working; so i did a basic cable test and it started working again. one or more wires are loose inside; ok... not too bad. then i noticed the tweeter in the same speaker wasn't working. wtf, sigh.

i finished my work around 2:30pm today. w00t. gonna relax for a week i guess, and then full job hunt in priv and gov sectors.

so, my expected "unexpected" talk with the boys about work happened today. i was given the option of a 4 month probation to see if my performance picked up or i'd be fired; or i can work less than an hour a day for those 4 months and still get fired.

i submitted my weak cv to the company jen works for. it's an IT consulting firm which places freelancers like myself into what seems like great jobs. so, with work sucking like nothing before i decided i need to actively hunt. i honestly wish i had spent the last 5 years doing different work so my cv looked better, but what can ya do eh?...
