I've been tired before. Tired is you don't feel like getting up to change the channel, or to go grab the remote control. Lately, I've been exhausted. Exhausted is like when you've been running and can't catch your breath, but instead of running, you've been talking, and your mind is so overworked that you can't find the next word. Fortunately, tomorrow is a mental health day. A couple of doctor's appointments, coupled with some hard core lounging will hopefully rest me up. Here's hoping.
A little Family Guy helps put me in the right mode of thought. Key scene- Adam Corolla as death, who tries to get a date with a chick at a pet store. He finally gets coffee with her, and he grows progressively more and more bored because she won't shut up about how much she loves animals. She talks about how animals don't fight wars, to which Death (Adam) says animals are fighting all the time. "But not nuclear war! You can't hug your children with nuclear arms!" Death taps her on the shoulder, she collapses, and knocks over her coffee. Death says "Check, please." THAT is a good omen for my day off tomorrow.
