So..... I'm pretty sure I'll be here at home in the fall, working, taking core classes like math and physics, as well as whatever classes sound like fun, restarting my formal martial arts education (I had 7 years behind me and only 1 year left until black belt when I had to quit) and just generally getting myself back to that place where I feel like I'm doing what I'm doing just because it's what I want for myself, not for any other reasons.
Once I'm back there, who knows where I'll go? Probably back to more southern latitudes, because I happen to have fallen in love with that part of the world. I'll miss the people I met who are already there, but your lives will obviously go on without me, and that's just the way things work.
Bit of a bummer, in a number of ways, but big decisions, even absolutely positive ones, always are. Wish me luck?
