I had lunch with a girl I hadn't seen in eight years. Eight. I've been told I've changed a lot just in the last two or three, but eight ... I still hoped to write fiction for a living. I was going to study robotic. I read all of the Luke+Leia+Han+co. Star Wars books post-Return of the Jedi. I worked at a summer camp for almost nothing. I'd spent some time with brilliant people and played in a Connect Four tournament ...

She at least claims that not much happened on her end ... I guess I'm just more talkative. It would be nice to know more, but I'm not inclined to press people for information.
