Oh my god 3 days off. 
I have every intention of using them as haphazardly as possible. A friend of mine is in town from vancouver and a bunch of us are gonna get together tonight and have a big drunk up. It feels like I haven't seen anybody in months, rather than weeks or days. I have to take my car (or whats left of it) in to the garage to get the estimate done in the next couple days. My fingers are crossed that it's done like dinner.
I wasn't going to go tonight but one of my friends called and said,
"why aren't you here,?"
"I forgot it was tonight" I said "I'll see about the bus schedule."
to which she replied; " How long have you been the dd?"
I shrugged, which doesn't translate over the phone.
Her response was " I'm coming to get you, get ready bitch."
She makes me laugh; her and her hubby are really good peoples. So I'm off for a night of frivolity, thank fucking god, whichever god that might be....eros?; aphodite, bacchus so many gods of fertility and love but who claims the sex.
Mayhaps I have a higher calling.

i've been gone awhile...was in florida to best man a wedding, but it's good to hear that you've been riding the crest these last few days. seems that life is pretty calm and fun for you of late. i'm glad to hear it!

on a very nerdy and non-party/drinking/sex note, have you ever read "the birth of tragedy" by nietzsche? your mention of bacchus made me think of that essay....
