I don't have a job yet. Ha Ha (nervous laughter). I had an interview at a Bakery on La Brea which went very well. I have 4 years of experience as a baker under my belt. 2 years as the head baker as so indicated by a very beautiful, very proffesional resume and a letter of recomendation. Unfortunately the bakery in question no longer bakes in its location it is only retail, so I will only be working behind the counter which sucks because it will be a dramatic cut in pay, and I'll be serving irritated customers during the holiday season. Yay. But I need some sort of income. But I'm stoked because there is a Trader Joes down the street that I will also be applying for. I looked up their benefits package on the internet and it's great. So hopefully I can get a job there before the other guy calls me back. It pays well too!!!
I have to apply tommorrow. I should be utilizing all this extra free time typing out my script. My roomate has excellent software for this, but all I tend to do is wake up late
drink tons of instant coffee, pace, smoke ciggarettes, do pushups, write down random thoughts and pieces for the script on any scrap of paper I can find, all while blasting music. Or dicking around on the internet ( mostly this site).
I need to buckle down and type this thing out!!! Wish me luck!
