ok, so tonight was kind of good, but i did something that led to an end result that i always dread.
i ended up in the emergency room tonight. because i shouldn't be left alone...

what really happened? i was putting up the magnetic knife holders in my kitchen, and after i finished, i was washing the new knives i had purchased last week to put them up. and, as i was washing the first knife, i managed to slice the living hell out of my left thumb. this was shitty for many reasons, because i had been planning on using my usually high activity night hours to clean my house, and i hate going to the hospital because it takes for fucking ever.
so, in the end, i didn't clean my house. but my sister did straighten up a bit while her boyfriend drove me to get stitched up. and the room they put me in had cable tv. so it wasn't horrible, but by the time i got home, i knew i couldn't do what i wanted, so i spent some time chatting with a very special person, then in preparation for bed, i folded laundry. but, the bandage they had so thoughtfully put on my finger came off, and so i decided to post this. also because i am experiencing a second wind and wanted to do something at least witty and clever, if not constructive.
