Ok, Nephthys is back, so we can't talk about her behind her back anymore. Too bad, that was fun.
hehe. Anyways, not much news to report. I finally had all my classes. They seem ok for the most part. The only one I'm not particularly impressed with is my environmental communication class. Its not that I'm disinterested in the environment, but the readings seem preachy and kind of speculative, and uncritical. I expect more at this point in my education, especially with the lack of options to take something instead of it. *sigh*. ah well.
anyways, I've been forced to drop another one of my classes, and I need to pick up something else. So i need your help about which one sounds the most interesting, and why:
Culture and Power in Canada II: Cultural Institutions
This one seems like it might be both useful and informative.
Roman Civilization
Basically, the cultural and political history of ancient rome. This kinda stuff fascinates me, so it might be fun.
Great Books World Tour
uh, just alot of famous books and stuff. might be pretty good, although I would prefer to keep my readings light to concentrate on more important things.
Growth of Greek Philosophy: Aristotle and Beyond
I'v never taken a philosophy class, might be good I think.
Sexualities and Society
Sounds pretty fun. The kinda class where people get all scared to say stuff and uncomfortable. I can kick against the prudes man!
So yeah, let me know which class YOU think I should take, and why.
BTW, Ur-Nightmare, where are u????
And this thing won't let me change stuff in my profile? Whats up with that?

I read my own books in my own time and dissecting other philosophies before I fully develope my own is distracting.
I am actually taking the same class right now... but because I go to architecture school... it is more geared towards the growth of these civilizations through an architectural standpoint. It's pretty awesome!
