Stuff is better this week than last!
1) I ACTUALLY PASSED MY ASTRONOMY EXAM! I AM THE SMARTEST MAN ALIVE!!
I would like to thank Jule for being so hawt and awesome. I owe my astronomical (get it?) success to her!!
All my marks that I've gotten back have been better than I was expecting, which makes me happy!
2) Interesting developments with my dickhead landlords. My roomates weren't making very good progress with the Ontario Rental Housing Tribunal, so one of them went to the cops to see if she could press formal charges. She could not, but she was allowed to file a complaint. This lead to a phonecall from the police to said dickhead landlords (which will now just be called DL). My DL's made a total ass of themselves. First, they didn't even believe it was the cops, which the police officer just loooooveed. Then, they explained to the police how they have the right to come into the house whenever they please, which is a web of bullshit that the cops made sure to untangle for them. Then, they tried to deny that some of us were even living here, which was a laugh. Now, the DLs are extremely careful when dealing with us. Today he was over, and first of all told me that I need to produce a letter of intent to move out. Then, they proceeded to start an arguement about the phonecall, denying some of the claims we made. I won't get into the details, but the DLs changed their story about 50 times during the course of the discussion with claims like "All we did was clear some stuff of the table and tidy up", and after we told them that was our pvt. property they said "well, we didn't touch anything." Morons. I'm expecting a phonecall from a lawyer so I can talk about this letter they want me to write, which I'm not going to do because I think its just a way to lure me into some legal mumbo jumbo I don't feel like putting up with. hehehe. Its becoming more and more clear that we have these DLs by the balls.
3) I'm leaving in about a week. I'm not happy about having to go. I'm gonna miss you guys!
4) My closest friend here told me she was going to drop out of school and move away. She's doing this to be with her BF, who shes planning on marrying even though she doesn't love him. This really upset me. I want her to be happy, but the fact of the matter is she needs 2 credits to graduate from university, but is going to throw it away because she doesn't want to get married while in University. I think this is a dumb reason. I'm the first person to say school isn't for everyone and you really don't need it to be happy or productive or whatever. But she's so close to being done it seems like such a waste to just throw it away. We've gotten into several arguements about it this week, which makes her cry and makes me angry...
...Also, I'll really miss her if she goes. I'll feel so alone here.
