Fuck! I hit the wrong button and erased by update! AGAIN!
Well, I was telling everyone that problem for last week has worked itself out and thanked everyone for their advice.
My next little rant was about how my landlord is crazy because she claims to have no money, and yet is going on vacation to mexico tomorrow, which I didn't understand, because I don't get a trip to Mexico everytime I go broke. I mus be doing something wrong.
Oh yeah, the best part of my deleted entry was this little story from Monday. I was in my gothic lit. class when my prof asked me if I found the various representations of sexuality and gender roles in Dracula to be threatening (Merry must love this). Unfortunetly, I haven't been the greatest student the past couple of weeks and didn't get around to reading Dracula, so I was little apprehensive about saying anything. Instead, I deflected the question by talking about how the vampire myth has been so drawn out by popular culture that any threatening elements of the myth have been worked through and internalized, thus producing a certain degree of comfort with it. The I cited Bunnicula as an example! Once again, my ass was saved by a vampire bunny rabbit! If I had a nickle for everytime I said that......
Have u guys read Bunnicula, or is it just me? Man, I used to love that book.
Anyways, the important thing about my entry was the fact that some of my friends have been hitting tough times as of late, so you should send them some good vibes:
