Hi Everybody!
I'm looking for opinions on this one. I'm thinking about getting a new tattoo (actually, I'm pretty much decided) but I've got two ideas that I'm equally attached to, so I'm looking for opinions.
My first idea is to get a slash design over my ribs, and then underneath would be a face. The face would be hidden in black except for a single eye and about half of a smile. The eye and the smile would both be white, and then in the eye would be a broken heart instead of a pupil. I like this idea because I think it would look super cool if done right, and it has a little more meaning for me than my other tattoos. On the other hand, finding just what I'm looking for would be tough (this ones gotta look just right, and since I can't draw that means I have to be able to explain this), and I don't like how this tattoo is different than my other ones, which are more fun and poppy.
My other idea is way easier. Its simply a cartoonish thumbs up popping out of my ribs on the left side, and then on the other side it'd be a thumbs down. I like this idea because its more political, it'd be more fun and kind of complement my other tattoos. On the other hand, I'm not sure if I want to use the space on my body for this image. I already have some fun tattoos, getting more might be pushing the envelope, and I might wind up in regret town in case I ever came up with an idea similar to the first one.
I don't know if I'm explaining myself well, but I want to emphasize that I'm not asking people to tell me what to do. I'm just curious as to what people think is a better idea, preferably from someone who has faced similar dilemmas when getting work done. I'm getting one or the other, I'm just looking for input.
In other atom2 news, I had a shitty day. I found out one of my ex's friends is my fucking TA for a class, and I don't see that being good for the marks. Then, my ex swung by this afternoon to pick up the last of her stuff (after 2 or 3 months). The whole time she was with me she was either crying or giving off the I want to have sex so we can get back together vibe (she's seeing someone else, BTW). I had to turn down sex today! TURN IT DOWN! Its a big change from my usual begging for sex. It sucks trying to be responsible, and nice, and good......BAH!

Exes and their friends are the devil. It is the reason why I will never have my dream job of selling porn down at X-Citement Video. I really need to move to a town with more than one porn store.
