I had an awesome birthday weekend in Portland. There was lots of delicious beer, including Hair of the Dog and sours at the Cascade Barrel House, good food and rad hangouts. It's been a while, I apologize. I shattered a bone in my foot and fractured my ankle while bouldering 3 weeks ago after I fell off the top of a boulder onto a landing of beach rocks. That was followed by one legged scrambling up a cliff and then hopping on one leg along a trail for about a mile back to the car....

The little bro is down for Yellowknife to hang out at the moment which is rad. I took him to Seattle on Sunday and we hit up the EMP/Sci-Fi museum which was awesome. Monday, I took him climbing in Squamish and then Tuesday we headed to Wreck Beach for the day.

I'm back!

AZ and UT were rad and beautiful - crazy times were definitely had in the desert. I saw a lot of amazing places and geological features that I hadn't seen before, on top of the usual desert goodness. We also shot a sequel to the famed "Drake: King of Skate" video so keep an eye out for that.
