My girlfriend of 5 1/2 years and I decided to call it quits last night.
It was mutual and for the best, but that doesn't make it any easier on either of us. My life is obviously going to change dramatically and its a rather peculiar thing to adjust to, not to mention filter into one's perception. Being that we've lived together for nearly our whole relationship, it increases the complexity of the situation. But alas, life goes on and therefore I must go with it.
On a less serious note, I've only got 2 more exams left and then school is done for the term. I'm off to Victoria for a few days after that and then to Edmonton or Christmas.
