Halloween is coming up and for the first time EVER I still dont have a costume. I usually work so hard on them too. I love dressing up and halloween is just another excuse for me to do that. But this year... I dunno just not feeling it.

Brownies are kind of in between cakes and cookies, and the lemon bars suggested above sound good. I'd say bake a pie, but that can be time consuming and messy, too.
It's pretty frustrating when your team dominates, but can't score. You don't know if the other team's goalies are hot or if your scorers are snakebitten... as a fan of the Capitals, I'm not experiencing that right now, but I will - it's a long season and every team has stretches like that.
