Today, at work, has been one of those shit-hitting-the-fan kinds of days. Several problems arising, several people getting their hands involved, few knowing what the hell they are talking about, and me stuck somewhere near the middle of it all.

This is what happens when my immediate boss is on vacation.

Supposedly I will be having dinner with a very good friend of mine tonight -- someone I haven't seen much of in the last few months (since her new boyfriend is threatened by our friendship, etc.). Hopefully it will work out.
