i dont.

checked out your website. its pretty cool. i like the experimental stuff alot.
happy your dads birthday.
nephares6:
yeah, that's pretty cool. July 31. I get what you're saying about the disposables with the contrast and all, but it can be done pretty easily with a good 35mm. Just like you said, fast film, flash, etc. And the right paper wouldn't hurt either.

I think I have this condition that makes me just poke fun at people until they get annoyed...Picking and picking and picking. I did it to my siblings when we were younger all the time and I never stopped. I could be a problem, but I do enjoy it when someone yells STOP, it's a bit of a rush. I know I'm the only one...

I guess I'll contribute to the festivities:

___________I HAVE POOR SELF LOVE____________
Arch hand becomes curled fist
bashing against the intrados of my neck
crush...second hand flailing, fingers extended to
GOUGE, blood rivulets pound in tiny geysers,
push pumps of my life flow.

I come crash, plush plumes of light blur
in reaction, I blink...blink, blink.
clarity corrupts the unclear,
breaking ignorance, I now know...

frown

I am on ear. my boss told me I am a problem employee...in the eyes of my supervisor, who's less than a month or 2 older than I, and totally resents the fact that I actually went and graduated from college...this made for a very depressing evening. I goto work...work...and leave. I have NO work friendships, which makes it very difficult to actually want to...

Are you sure you dreamt that? I was watching a porno the other day with the exact same plot. Maybe you were just watching Cinemax at night.
Yeah that's work alright. Get a better job. Where do you work anyway?
heavenlystranger:
yes, my story is about a protagonist who becomes his own antagonist. i have never thought of it quite that way before.
jobs. why oh why do people assume that work needs to be some place of brotherhood. i once applied for a job where they told us in the interview that we WOULD make a difference. evidence: it was a phone survey job for random products and they said that, though their employees, hamburger helper was developed!!!! wow! let's all be friends.
i do my job and come home and i don't think about my job until it's time to go back.

what a night...I was such a retard...I totally forgot my ticket (49 bucks down the drain) then found 2 nice people who had an extra 2 tix that they sold me one at cost (35 bucks) I totally lucked out. got in and had a blazer of a time. Malkmus was awesome, very pavementie still...but Radiohead and Thom were off the cuff. Lost of variety...

This is for all the cats...

You fat lazy fuck, sucking up all the air.
you yellow motor boat, killing me with your hair.
you ugly little piece, never getting wet
you crazy black mother, I knew I'd regret.
doped up on benedryl, never breathe again
sloppy, miffed up on dry skin.
I can't stand to be around, though your cute
your dander fucks me...

This one's for you chris, hope you dig it well...

late afternoon and the shadows grow long,
dust curls twist as the wind blows.
ain't no grandfather left;
no one to tell us a story of wayback when,
before you and I had time, to go back to.
your boots shuffle, slipping against the ground
there's that wind kicking up again, as the sun does...

your logo in your pics is cool.
invisigirl:
yeah, ann arbor is in southeast michigan, about 40 miles from detroit.

i miss the structure of college too. i have found that i can't motivate myself at all without "assignments". lame.

Man...Hot Water Music was off the hook! I got kicked in the face and I must have sweat like 3 gallons! It was awesome. the Vexers was a good one too and Ann Beretta wasn't too shabby. Had a good night, slept alittle heavy though.

That was fun, one more week till Radiohead!
syberea:
ive heard of hot water music but i dont know what their music is like. i love their cover art though. radio head is amazing, they are geniuses as far as i am concerned.
its funny that you like hot hot heat, they are from my town, i see them at the bar all the time. its rather amusing. its cool you like godspeed too, i was on a big godspeed kick for awhile.
i have put up a few pics of paintings, they are a bit old, i am on a new kick now but i dont have pics of those yet.
there will be more coming.
i would like to see some of your stuff too. if you have anything you can show that would be swell. just swell.

well, another successful weekend of dull-dumb. Friday night Chris and I crashed an underagers party, very humorous! Saturday, I got to use a pressure washer to clean my house...the power was killer!

Tonight...Hot Water and Ann Beretta! This should be interesting, I hope I don't get crushed!

oh, check this shit out, specially you design oriented types next level of web design...simplified

Thanks for the comments on my photos. I know they're all pretty mid-range, but those were the first prints, without any test beforehand. I prefer scanning directly from negatives, since I rarely shoot positive film, and the few scans that I could actually push the contrast on (in Photoshop) ended up much better.

The Cremaster screenings at the Prince could've been expensive if you did them all separately. I saw 1&2 on the same night for a two for one price, I think. I tried to go again on the Sunday when they were showing all 5, but instead, saw 3-5, for the same price as 1-5 (ca. $17 or so). Considering that I may never see most of them again, not bad.

hum...I wonder if maybe I went a little too deep for the masses with that last entry?!

I guess, I'll just stick to my old thumb to ass routine...sorry if I offended anybody, expect you h.s., you got me...

I won't try that again...unless... .. . . .

we were sitting in a conference room at new line, watching it, adn all of us laughing out loud!
that music video was pretty good i seem to recall.
syberea:
i dont think that you went too deep at all. i dont think you offended anyone either. sorry just read it today, i though it was rather well executed. who is graham romeiu(?) friend of yours or someone whos work you admire?
i do a multitude of things myself, but at this time i am stickin with painting cuz...i dont know why, i guess because i am just getting back into doing art after a long hiatus
hows the graphic design world?
