Well, the day finally came, and went. Queens of the Stone age played the shit out of the Burton Cummings Theatre. This IS a picture of Josh, the singer extradinaire.

They played all the grats and for a whopping hour and 40 minutes give or take a bit. My seats were not too shabby, 14 or so rows back on the floor. (which for some DUMB reason has seats)

The best thing about Queens of the Stone Age, besides rockin my world, is that they are SO about talent and pure music. They put on a great show but no pyro techs. no corny intro. Just walk out, play some songs, say a bit here and there, appreciate the crowd, have a couple beers, play more songs and done. So cool.

This band Throw Rag opened up for them. They were kinda interesting at first but played for like an hour and it got old. There was a washboard player...had a couple of spoons he scraped along a washboard around his neck with a couple cowbells attached to it. He was pretty funny, but like I said, got old pretty fast. All and all a very awesome night.
