What a whimsical day. I woke up, read some exalted books (my adventure is going to kick ass!). Went to work. Got to work half an hour early cuz I misread my schedule. Had fun at work, came home. Called girl with intent of going out tonight. Girl's roomate answers. She says girl is in shower but that she will tell her to call me when she gets out. I wait...and wait...(can you see where this is going?)...and wait...and wait...and unless taking four hour long showers is something girls do I think she just didn't call me back. Her loss entirely! Because I went to go see Bulletproof Monk! AND she missed a beautiful night with a most excellent moon! So without further adu...ado...adoo...damn how do you spell that..

MOVIE REVIEWS BY ASTROKREEP23!
This Week : Bulletproof Monk

Apparently a long time a go, in a place far far away (Tibet), a group of Buddists monks came into possesion of a mysic scroll. Stop me if you've heard this one. Lets just say it has the power to give its user control of the world...how? How isn't important. What's important is that its an excuse for evil mercenaries and a very old, very evil nazi to chase around a monk with no name for two hours. This movie has a plot that seems like it was thrown in the bathroom of an all night Denny's. But ,as with all good martial arts movies, that doesn't matter! This movie has some entertaining fight sequences. They aren't that impressive, but only because movies like the Matrix and Crouching Tiger have skewed the curb. The heart of this movie lies in the relationship of Kar (Seann William Scott) with a nameless monk (Chow Yun-Fat) who has been charged as the scroll's gaurdian. Highlights involve the monk giving Kar advice on his love intrest, Jade (Jaime King). "I'm not taking advice on women from a monk!" "I wasn't born a monk." And so forth. Of course Jade also knows Kung fu, in fact no one in this movie doesn't. This alows for the cliche but always entertaining scene of fighting/flirting between the male and female lead. All in all this movie was somewhere between Ok and pretty good. It was a nice start to a season that will be soon be choked with more blockbusters than you can shake an oscar at. If you plan to see a million movies this spring and summer like I am then this is one you won't mind adding to the list. However if you are going to be picky, as hollywood sometimes forces us to be, the I shall recommend waiting for vhs or dvd release on this one. With so many big movies headed our way one is forced to make these tuff choices from time to time.

Ok I'm adding this in because Its both scary and funny. Jeane Claude Van Damme recently had an interview in wich he talked about doing a sequel to the movie Street Fighter. In the interview he refered to to SF as "one of the finest movies of my career" and that the movie was "beloved by many." He seemed very eager to get started on the sequel. This kinda scares me about how delusional it must be to be an actor. I mean I've never met ANYONE who didn't hate this movie with every fiber of their being. I hope I'm never that famous....not that he is biggrin

Demoivre's truck is fixed (yay!) so I'm going to drive him to the place at 8 am to pick it up. Do you want to do breakfast ~10? Then you can pick out a rat, and I have my car, so I want to go downtown at some point and find me some fairy wings, and go to the stoneyard and stuff. What's your work schedule?

How'd the lunch thing go? K was sad he missed you. check out the glory that is fractal's set.
